Spurred, dark rose pink flowers contrast nicely with the bronze to dark green foliage underneath. Blooming in early spring, 'Rose Queen' is a great punch of color in the shade garden.
One of the choicest plants for the shade garden once established, 'Rose Queen' boasts deep-bronze juvenile foliage as it emerges in spring, followed by dark-rose flowers with long white spurs on wispy stems that rise above the foliage. Epicedium's are one of the few perennials that thrive in dry shade and will compete well among tree roots.
