Weigela 'Bokrashine' PP# PPAF

Shining Sensation™ Weigela

Glossy burgundy foliage and light pink flowers on a compact habit.

Homeowner Growing & Maintenance Tips

It's easy to see why Weigela was a favored landscape shrub for grandma, and still rates on the top of the list today. A true performer, these adaptable plants offer months of bloom and often have attractively colored foliage. Funnel-shaped flowers are particularly attractive to hummingbirds. A blooming machine, 'Shining Sensation's' pink-funnel-shaped flowers engulf the plant in May and June, and then sporadically bloom through summer. Shiny, burgundy foliage appears as though it has been polished, and contrasts nicely with the pink flowers, making this new selection from Europe a cut above the rest. Long, arching stems provide a handsome architectural element to the mixed border. A fast growing shrub with a gracefully arching habit, guaranteed to add season-long color! Plant in full sun in the northern states to part shade in coastal regions. Hardy to zone 5 reliably.
