Iris pseudacorus

Yellow Flag Iris

Produces very floriferous, yellow flowers late Spring to early Summer. Adaptable to moist or dry conditions. If grown in gardens it will prefer a soil that contains a lot of organic matter to retain high soil moisture. Grows well when planted in a container and submerged in up to 12” of water in full sun. Also does well in average garden soils where they receive afternoon shade.
