Northern Maidenhair Fern

This five-finger maidenhair has dainty, bright green fronds are held aloft on shiny black stems that create a light, airy texture in the woodland garden. It will spread by shallow rhizomes to form a dense groundcover in rich soil and bright shade. The young fiddleheads emerge pink in spring.
